Deadline for sending applications is March 31, 2026.

Before submitting your application electronically, please be sure to read the Eligibility Requirements and Frequently Asked Questions

You will need to upload the following documents to your online application:

1. A research proposal that includes a description of your area of study (if the proposal is sent in English, then a short bilingual abstract in both English and Italian should also be included).
2. An academic resume,
3. A scan of a photo ID (passport, ID card, driving license).

You will be asked to give two referring professors’ information. Your professors are required to email their letters of reference directly to  info@lemmermann-foundation.org.

Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email with your Applicant ID number.

In your proposal you must provide evidence of the necessity to conduct your research in Rome.
